As we grew our business, we soon needed help. But, employees were too expensive. After all, minimum wage has increased to almost $15/hour. So we thought about it, should we spend $15 an hour, just for someone to post all day on OfferUp for us.
See a trick we found was, the more you post, the more your ad goes to the top. The more your ad was on top, then the more messages you got, and the more sales you got.
As a guy with an IT background, I understood I needed to build a tool that can help my project. For years, we used the software to profit. We never bothered selling our tool, because after all, who sells something that makes them money?
But, as we told our friends in the industry what we did, soon we out grew our business and our software took over. Ask yourself, would you rather post manually?
